i expected my life partner to be a decent human being. I believe that life is more comfortable and meaningful when you love and respect your life partner. I am sure that you are not living a happy life if your life partner is not who you expected it to be. The way I looked at it, I was going to spend the rest of my life with this person, so I wanted to make sure /she was someone I could easily communicate and connect with. I wanted someone who shared my ideals and interests and with whom I could share the rest of my life. I expected a lot of things from my life partner, but I know that the most important thing was for him/her to be a good human being.
